We had a blast kayaking on the nearby lake and feeling like legit adventurers. The water was fresh AF and we even spotted some cool wildlife chillin' by the shore. It was the perfect activity for us young party animals!
The only thing that could've made our stay even more lit was if there was a sick party room where we could hang and blast some music. Like, a legit dancefloor with dope lights and speakers.

The value for money was excellent, with a clean and tidy room that had attention to detail in decoration. The location was peaceful and quiet, creating a wonderland atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and supportive.
The breakfast selection could be improved with a greater variety of options.

We got great value for our money with our stay at Kalimna Woods Cottages. The room was super cute and comfortable, with a generous bedroom, spa, and separate shower/toilet facilities. The location was perfect, secluded yet still close to Lakes Entrance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even providing an early check-in and added touches like soft music and incense in our cottage upon arrival.
The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement.

Great location, close to the city center but feels like you're in the country. Peaceful and relaxing. The cottages are spread out among the trees, ensuring privacy.- Abundance of wildlife, including sugar gliders, possums, and various bird species.
No warning about the damaged road leading to the cabins, which made it unsafe to drive down at night. Poor communication about the use of amenities, such as the furnace and heaters, resulting in no hot water and a cold shower in the morning.

The location was perfect for us party-loving teens, with easy access to both the beach and the town. We had a blast going kayaking on the surrounding water - it was so much fun paddling around and exploring. The best part was definitely the adrenaline rush we got from splashing each other and trying to tip the kayaks! It was an unforgettable adventure.
The only thing we wished for was a livelier nightlife scene nearby. As young party-goers, we were hoping for some clubs or bars to dance the night away.

Chose this hotel for my work appointment as it offered a garden, free onsite parking, and WiFi in the business center. The facilities were satisfactory and met my needs during my stay.
I would have appreciated a more efficient and responsive room service to cater to my work-related requests.

I recently stayed at a lovely little cottage nestled in the tranquil bushland of Kalimna Woods. It was such a peaceful and secluded location, with only 10 cottages dotted throughout the sloping terrain. The setting allowed for plenty of privacy, and I loved waking up to the beautiful sounds of birds singing every morning. The cottage itself was incredibly cosy and had a wonderful atmosphere. I especially enjoyed lighting the pot belly fire to keep warm and being surrounded by nature and wildlife. Plus, being just a short 10-minute walk from Kalimna Jetty and having a nice loop walk into Lakes Entrance was a definite bonus. Oh, and there's a pub nearby that serves decent pub food, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat after a day of exploring.

I chose this hotel for attending a seminar because of its convenient features like a garden, free parking onsite, and WiFi in the business centre. The garden provided a peaceful environment for relaxation and the free parking made it easy for me to come and go. The WiFi in the business centre was helpful for staying connected during my work tasks.
The one service that I missed for my work was a reliable and strong WiFi connection in the cottages themselves. Being able to work from the comfort of my room would have been more convenient.

Nestled amongst the serene bush, the cottages provide a peaceful and tranquil experience. The detached cottages offer privacy and spaciousness, with spotlessly clean interiors. Guests can enjoy the company of friendly possums and birds, and even feed them. The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by the provision of firewood for a comforting fire at night.
The couch in one of the cottages was lumpy, making it uncomfortable to relax and watch TV by the fire.

Cozy cottage with a fireplace, perfect for spotting dolphins and sea eagles at the jetty. Loved watching the antics of sugar gliders and possums. Fresh towels available for an extra price.
Oh, just the joy of exchanging used towels for fresh ones. for a fee! So generous. Hubby and I had a good laugh about that.

The location is great, just a short drive to the fishing jetty and close to beautiful nature spots. The beds were comfortable and we had a cozy cottage for our family. The best part was the bonfire and BBQ outside, perfect for enjoying the holiday spirit.
The spa was outdated and needed some maintenance. There were also a few insects in the bathroom and curtains.

Wildlife feeding and pit fire not available due to fire danger. Self-contained cottages with option to bring own food. Wood fire adds to nostalgic experience. Friendly and helpful staff organize courtesy bus for meals. Challenging climb assisted by caring staff member.

I recently stayed at Kalimna Woods Cottages for a few nights and it was the perfect getaway. The quiet bushland location provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The stand-alone cottage had ample room for two and the wood-fired heater created a cosy and quaint atmosphere. The friendly reception made me feel welcomed and the free wifi and ample hot water were convenient perks. There was also plenty of parking space and the cleanliness of the cottage was top-notch.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
